Employee Spotlight: Ben Brasee
I joined CSS in May 2021 and have appreciated the seamless onboarding and positive experience of getting to know the teams. I also appreciate CSS’s unique value proposition and approach, and its intentionally excellent culture.
A bit about myself: I got into the real estate industry unintentionally. In 2011, I was working in the mail room of an IRA firm and ended up joining their real estate investments operation. In 2015, I transitioned to the title and escrow field, and have since enjoyed solving new challenges creatively for clients in the residential, agricultural, and commercial spaces.
My wife Jess and I have been married for 8 years and we have a 3-year-old daughter, Noelle, who is remarkably insightful.
After almost a decade out of school, I am currently a student again, in the process of earning an MBA degree.
In my free time, my favorite recreational activity is running.
What do you like most about CSS?
I am impressed by the transparency and openness at CSS and how that creates invested team members.
What have you learned?
Unique market customs, client preferences, ResWare quirks and features, policies and procedures, departmental workflows.
What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
The strangest thing was probably the Miracle Fruit berry, which makes sour things taste sweet.
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
Legal and accounting services!
