Employee Spotlight | Stephanie Sasse

A FEW WORDS FROM STEPHANIE:

I began my career with CSS back in December and quickly was able to enjoy all the perks of working in the office around Christmas. While coming from a company that did commercial real estate tax consulting, I was somewhat familiar with real estate, however, everything at CSS was new to me. I have learned so much about the appraisal process and providing good customer service to our lenders. I really enjoy being a part of the Valuation Team. They have been so helpful to me as I ask all my questions and learn the process.

Some of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time are watching my son play baseball, reading and family game nights.

Q&A WITH STEPHANIE:

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy the assigning processes, opening up each new order and figuring out which appraiser would be best suited for the assignment. It’s like a challenging game.

If you had one superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could have one superpower, it would be to fly. I’d be able to see so many places throughout the world.

If you could have dinner with one person who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with my mother who I lost 11 years ago. Although she was ill for a while, her passing was unexpected, and I have so many questions for her and just miss her company.

Tell us three things most people don’t know about you.

    1. I have a bachelor's degree in Dietetics. While in college, and undecided on a major, I took a nutrition class that I found interesting. I knew the health care industry would be a fantastic field to get into. Little did I know then how much the field of nutrition would take off.
    2. I love scary movies! Some of my favorites are The Exorcist, The Conjuring and It
    3. I danced at the Pontiac Silverdome. I was on the dance team at Bowling Green and we traveled with the marching band to perform at a Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers football game. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
