A FEW WORDS FROM REBECCA:

I first learned about CSS on Indeed. I'm extremely drawn to how family-oriented CSS is. I feel welcomed and appreciated. I especially enjoy interacting with internal/external customers and building genuine, long-lasting relationships with them. In my time working for CSS, I've gained so much knowledge and understanding of the Title and Closing process. Because of my manager Heather and teammate Rachel, I have gained a lot of confidence in my recording abilities. They've both helped me blossom into the professional recorder I am today.

Q&A With REBECCA:
1. What are three career lessons you've learned thus far?

  1. When you are overwhelmed, don't be too prideful to ask for help.
  2. Don't compare yourself with others. Be the best you can be and add to the team. Don't compete against it.
  3. No matter how many mistakes you make along the way. Never stop trying to get it right. This quote sums the third lesson up for me perfectly - "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow'." - Mary Anne Radmacher.

2. What are the three words that best describe you?
  1. Compassionate
  2. Honest
  3. Thoughtful

3. What are three things most people don't know about you?
  1. I was born and raised in the uptown Bronx, New York area. I moved to Cleveland in 1999.
  2. My second career is that I'm a home health aide. I have much love for the elderly and helping them in any way brings me true fulfillment.
  3. I enjoy watching shows from back in the days like Friends, The Office, Three Company's, and What's Happening!

4. What's the best piece of advice you've been given?
Effective living is not measured as much by what we accomplished as by what we overcome in order to accomplish it.

5. If you were to choose a superpower, what would it be?
Superhuman strength, so I can save the defenseless against criminals.

6. What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
Deer meat, and I was tricked into eating it!

7. If you could have dinner one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with my mother, who passed away at the age of 31 of AIDS. I was only 13 years old at the time. I miss her smile and her laughter, and I have years of experience to share with her. After the dinner and catching her up in my life, I would ask her if I made her proud.

8. What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
I would take care of the homeless with food and shelter then find others who seek financial help. Keeping the money for myself would leave me empty and incomplete - giving the money away to the poor would bring my heart greater riches!

9. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Steak, Potatoes, and Gravy!
