Employee Spotlight: Justin Elliott
My wife Kathleen and I currently reside in Grand Rapids, MI. We are in the transition process to the Traverse City area. We're currently working on securing temporary housing and luckily we found something for mid-July!
I am originally from Ohio, but my wife and schooling brought me to Michigan.
We have two dogs – Lily and Lexie – a goldendoodle and golden retriever. They're our “baby” girls.
My stepdaughter and her husband live in Grand Rapids – she is a nurse practitioner and he works for one of the DeVos research foundations.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy meeting folks throughout the process, helping them with the sale, purchase or refinance of their new home or business.
Tell us two or three things people don't know about you:
- I play the piano. I took lessons for 18 years and was accepted to Juilliard, but decided to study accounting and law instead.
- I'm related to Martha Washington.
What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
Deep fried chicken gizzards!
