Charity Donations

The DEI Committee has selected three nonprofits to receive donations from CSS in order to support their efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Here are the three organizations that were chosen:

1. We All Code

We All Code is volunteer-run nonprofit organization that teaches web, game and app development to girls and youth in underserved neighborhoods.

2. NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund Inc. (LDF)

NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund is America's top legal firm fighting for racial justice. LDF seeks equality for all Americans.

3. The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth.

We plan to make a donation twice a year to each of these charities, with a goal of allocating approximately one third of our yearly company donations to these organizations.

For our mid-year donation, we will start by donating $500 to each organization. At the year's end, once we know our final profitability numbers, we will make an additional donation to get up to the 1/3 target.

DEI Learning Center

Our DEI Learning Center channel in Microsoft Teams is where employees can find and share DEI-related books, articles, videos, and podcasts with the rest of the company. We encourage you to view existing posts and share your recommendations. 

 

DEI Committee

The DEI Committee strives to make CSS a strong organization by ensuring that our company is a place where differences are welcomed, different perspectives are respectfully heard, and every individual feels a sense of belonging and inclusion.
