Employee Spotlight: Christine Tomasits
I've been with CSS for almost two months now. Time flies when you’re having fun! 😉
I spent one of my first days with the company at the North Olmsted office. That day I met a handful of colleagues, that quickly made me feel welcomed. Finding a company with a great culture and team members that make you feel comfortable is one of the hardest parts of the job search process. CSS has a clearly developed organization and structure that in turn sets you up for success.
I fell in love with Commercial Real Estate back in 2007. I literally “fell” into CRE. A friend had an opening at a local firm for a marketing director (NAI Pittsburgh). I knew nothing about real estate in general but quickly read everything I could get my hands on and got my real estate license. Within a year, became an Associate.
I thoroughly enjoy the networking aspect of my role. I am excited to bring CSS to the Pittsburgh Market and look forward to many closings! Especially knowing how everyone benefits from success. That drives me to succeed even more.
On a personal level, I love animals and enjoy giving back. I’ve worked with Guardian Angel Medical Service Dogs in Pittsburgh. I have 2 rescue cats, Jameson and Bo (brothers). They act more like dogs than cats. I volunteer at a local soup kitchen whenever I can because I love to cook as well.
Proud mom of two sons, Dustin (33) and Jack (20). Born and raised about 15 miles south of Pittsburgh. Also, I take pride in being handy around my house. Recently I installed a gas oven on my own, and I’m still here!
Three things’ people don’t know about me:
- About 9 years ago I flew to Vegas on a Thursday. Found out someone purchased the Richard Petty Driving experience for me, but never drove a standard in my life!! We decided to rent a corvette so I could learn and practice the next day at Red Rock Canyon. Saturday, I climbed in and drove Nascar (going about 180 around the track) and didn’t stall at the pit!!
- Ran the 2006 Marine Corps Marathon in D.C. in honor of my ex-brother-in-law that was a marine and tragically died at 39
- I enjoy cigars
Three words that describe me:
Passionate, Driven, and Positive
My favorite quote:
“Life is an echo. What you send out, comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get. What you see in others exists in you. Do not judge, so you will not be judged. Radiate and give love, and love will come back to you.”
