Carolyn was born and raised in Charlevoix Michigan. There is even a road named after her family who farmed the land for many years. As a kid, Carolyn spent most of her summers down the road at her grandparents’ farm driving tractors, feeding cattle, and disappearing for hours in the woods for games of dungeon and dragons with her cousins from California. Carolyn and her family now live on the farm.
Carolyn has three kids (Tanner, Maddie, and Sheridan) and a grandson Kamden, who just turned one and is walking everywhere!
Carolyn began working for CSS in September as a Final Policy Specialist. “Coming from an insurance background for home and auto, I was thrown for a loop at first trying to understand all the different endorsements, what they were for and why they were so important,” said Carolyn. “Because, unlike auto which was just straight forward coverage, title insurance is far more detailed.”
Carolyn praised the training she has received. Especially from Olivia, who did most of her training. Olivia was patient and created the most encouraging experience she has had in her career history. There are still days that she has questions, and it’s impressive that there is always someone who is more than willing to provide the answers, regardless of if they are simple or difficult to answer.
